Solar contractor is suddenly closing his door.

The leaders of solar companies are invited to share their analysis, of a suddenly announced collapse of a solar company.

Excerpts from the internet:

"Pink Energy solar company files for bankruptcy leaving customers in the dark"

"The Better Business Bureau in Charlotte is handling complaints since Pink Energy was based in North Carolina. The president of the chapter, Tom Bartholomy, said they have received more than 1,200 complaints."

Pink company announcement:

“Due to rampant consumer discontent resulting from faulty Generac solar equipment, Pink Energy has been forced to close its doors permanently"

Generac announcement:

“Generac is a leading manufacturer of solar + storage solutions, and we sell our products to a wide range of distributors and solar contractors. We’ve been in business for more than 60 years, and we’ve done that by standing by our promises and products.

What triggers failure? Is it top leaders short vision for growth? or unhealthy company culture?

Is it ineffective data base on material costs and labor cost in details, leading to inaccurate profit margins?

Is it inadequate training of installers on product installation guidelines? Unclear procurement contracts?

Is it incomplete and uncoordinated design, construction and commissioning?

Permits delays? Or missing ingredients in customer relations?

What is the mixture of all these components?
